SEGMENT 1: INTRODUCTION AND SCENE-SETTING
Welcome and scene-setting remarks on civic spaces in Asia and the Pacific were given to welcome participants and provide them with the necessary context to effectively engage in the substantive policy discussions under Segments 2, 3 and 4. A dedicated session on “Building a Case4Space” offered an overview of the participants’ roles and responsibilities, and the various ways to interact, work collaboratively and build partnerships among participants during the three-day event.
