VII. Youth grassroots campaigns
Grassroots campaigns are those that are intended to mobilize public support and use democratic tools such as lobbying, in order to instigate social or policy change. Campaigns can seek local, national or international objectives and are often threatened by government censorship or of violence by individual citizens. Different from traditional campaigns, online campaigns have the ability to mobilize millions, regardless of geographical obstacles or national borders.[NR1]
